A concept website for a creative catering firm, Overspill of Tenderness, was developed as the capstone project for the iLoveCreatives Squarespace Development Course—a dreamy brand brought to life through thoughtful design, custom development, and evocative storytelling.

Project Scope

Brand Design
The brand identity was designed to be whimsical and dreamy, perfectly capturing the spirit of a catering company that views food as both an art form and a love language. Every visual element, from color palette to typography, was chosen to evoke warmth, charm, and a touch of magic.

To bring the brand’s vision to life, I curated a collection of inspiring food photography sourced from Pinterest and some of my favorite chefs’ Instagrams, including Suea, Nadia Gohar, Paris Starn, and Ninety 9. These images helped create a visual world that felt lush, intimate, and full of storytelling.

Web Design & Development
The website build began with wireframes, which evolved into Figma mockups before being fully realized in Squarespace. Using a blend of native features and custom code injections, I crafted an interactive and immersive experience that felt as enchanting as the brand itself.

Copywriting
To ensure the brand’s essence translated seamlessly into words, I wrote all the website copy—creating a tone that was both inviting and whimsical, mirroring the brand’s ethos of hospitality, creativity, and warmth.
